We are delighted to have you visit Delta Delta Omega's Chapter website! Your presence here is a testament to the strength of our community. As the 42nd Chapter President of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Delta Delta Omega, I am thrilled to share a glimpse into our sisterhood and the values we uphold. Delta Delta Omega Chapter, with its roots dating back to May 25, 1946, in East St. Louis, IL, has a rich history of 78 years. This long-standing legacy is evidence of our commitment and reliability in serving the communities we are part of. As a proud chapter of the first Greek-letter organization for African American women, we embody a legacy of sisterhood, service, and scholarship. Service to All Mankind is the heartbeat of our sorority. Under the leadership of International President and CEO, Danette Anthony Reed, the 2022-2026 International Program, "Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood™" will focus on the following six initiatives: Strengthen Our Sisterhood (serves as the administration's "Foundation Initiative" as we strengthen our bonds to support our service mission.)
Delta Delta Omega members are deeply committed to impacting our community through diverse programs, impactful philanthropy events, and community service projects. The 2025-2026 administration theme "Hey S.I.S." (Service and Impactful Sisterhood) brings sisterhood back into focus while pouring back into our community, inspiring us all to make a difference. We invite you to explore our site to learn more about our history, sisterhood, values, and upcoming events such as our annual Easter Egg Hunt, Miss Fashionetta Cotillion, and T-Shirt dance. You can also find ways you can get involved in these events and our ongoing projects. We are truly grateful for your visit. Your interest in our chapter is deeply appreciated, and we look forward to the possibility of connecting with you soon! Sincerely,
